Future of AI

We’ve all heard it before: “AI is the future.”

It’s in our phones, our classrooms. AI helps us study faster, edit our selfies better, and even recommends what to binge-watch at 3AM. But somewhere in between the convenience and the cool factor, we forgot to ask a very real question:

What happens when AI stops being helpful—and starts being harmful?

When AI does the thinking, we stop. Don’t believe me? Well we will see that at the end.

Creativity, critical thinking everything. Imagine you have to give a long speech. Will you really write it down on your own? I don’t think so. Who will? Easy, chatGPT. If we keep telling it to do everything when is the time we think?  What if  our  minds stop working on its own ? What if  the future gets too attached to artificial intelligence that’s it is asking the simplest things to it asking its opinion on everything like what should I wear today? Or when should I sleep? You never know this might come true. 

And you might not want to believe it but people are actually starting to develop feelings for artificial intelligence, forming romantic bonds with it. Yes, people are falling in love with ai. Forgetting that it doesn’t really care it is just programmed to talk to you and form these relationship if you are lonely enough. That it is NOT A HUMAN that it doesn’t feel the same way obviously. Don’t believe me, search it up. 

Now what if ai starts CONTROLLING humans. Like humans start believing whatever it says. Today it is writing poems, what if tomorrow it is writing laws. It has enough power and knowledge to manipulate us. And actually it is currently happening in one country - United Arab Emirates. UAE. a country who is taking ai’s help in writing laws. Right now it is happening in one country what if  it soon happens all over the world and when ai realises that we are dependent on it, it is the one in charge what if it starts making laws in its benefit. Like whoever disobeys ai goes to prison. You know China is even using it in education.

And the scariest thing 

WHAT IF AI STARTS DOING HUMAN JOBS 

 the physical ai (robots) in the future generations can be a teacher, doctor, cook, architect, police, firefighter,and even an engineer. Imagine ai making ai. 

What would humans do? Sit home ? Yes, the answer is NOTHING right? Or is there something we could do when the ai has taken over the world. No there is not.
